Retro-style image features "On Repeat Already, My Mini Review of Jonas Brothers' Greetings from Your Hometown" text, with vinyl and cassette.

I guess I’m in my Jonas Brothers era again, and honestly, I’m not mad about it. With a new album out (Greetings from Your Hometown) and the tour kicking off soon, I couldn’t wait to hit play. My first listen? Sandwiched between morning coffee and Friday traffic on the way to work, and somehow, even red lights felt like part of the soundtrack.

I wanted to take a minute to give you my first impressions of each song on the album. I'm not a professional music reviewer; I just wanted to share my feelings on these songs from my first few listens.

  1. I Can’t Lose- Uplifting

Feels like a confident album opener and is quite optimistic and warm. The melody immediately puts you in a good mood and this is one of my favorites!

  2. Tables-Groovy

That intro had me hooked instantly. It’s got some retro vibes, perfect for windows-down driving.

  3. Love Me to Heaven- Dreamy

Soft and romantic with a touch of longing. Another favorite and I have been jamming to this one for a while since it was a single.

  4. No Time to Talk- Funky

Disco-inspired in the best way, with a nod to the Bee Gees. Impossible not to move along with the beat.

  5. Backwards- Vibey

This one is light and catchy. You just find yourself kind of bopping along to this one.

  6. Loved You Better (feat. Dean Lewis)- Tender

Gentle and emotional, with Dean’s vocals blending beautifully. It’s the kind of song that sneaks up and tugs at your heart.

  7. Greetings from Your Hometown (feat. Switchfoot)- Anthemic

A soaring tribute to roots and homecoming. It’s big, heartfelt, and I can't wait to scream-sing it with everyone in October!

  8. When You Know- Heartfelt

Acoustic and stripped back, showcasing vulnerability. Probably one of the most intimate moments on the album.

  9. Heat of the Moment- Fiery

This one feels like chasing adventure without looking back.

  10. Bully- Bold

Confident and defiant, with a punchy rhythm. It’s got an edge that makes it stand out.

  11. Waste No Time- Boppy

Feels like falling in love quickly and fearlessly. This one kind of reminds me of a Maroon 5 song.

  12. Lucky- Emotional

This one is just a sweet song that makes you want to push through.

  13. Mirror to the Sky- Reflective

Thoughtful and emotional, with a slower build. I love the chorus in this one.

  14. Slow Motion (feat. Marshmello)- Ethereal

Floaty and atmospheric, with Marshmello’s production giving it a dreamy lift. A beautiful closer for the album and another single that I was loving before this album even came out.

I really don't think I could ever say anything negative about a new Jonas Brothers album which means yes, I loved this one too! I'm a sucker for new albums and this one truly did not disappoint. I don't have a replay song just yet as I've just been listening to the whole thing on repeat. I need to learn all the lyrics for the concert!
